Terms & Conditions of Service

Redesigns and changes: up to 3 x re-designs/re-quotes are included free of charge.  Additional redesigns incur a fee of $150 per redesign. Changes can be made up to 2 months prior to the event.  Any changes made after this can only be accepted if you wish to add items to your order as floral orders will already be confirmed with our suppliers.  Once booking is confirmed, 2 months out from the wedding we review the order to confirm final requirements and price. 

Deposit and payment: a 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking. Full payment is required at a minimum of 7 days prior to the event date.  We reserve the right to withhold our services if payment is not received by this time frame.

Booking confirmation:  We will pencil in your booking date when we receive your request for a proposal, and we will advise if we receive another enquiry for this date at any time prior to confirming your booking.  Your booking is confirmed when we receive the deposit.

Cancellations: All cancellations will forfeit the 20% deposit.  For any orders cancelled within 28 days of the event date, an additional 10% of the confirmed order price will be charged to compensate for lost business and labour and to cover supplier invoices.

GST: All our prices are quoted excluding 15% GST (New Zealand Goods and Services Tax). This includes our services and event hire items.

Substitutions: Sometimes due to unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control (i.e. weather events/seasonal), your preferred floral varieties may not be available.  In this case, we reserve the right to substitute the closest available varieties whilst maintaining the style, colour palette and equivalent value of the original order. 

Pricing variations: Whilst we endeavor to accurately quote our orders in advance, sometimes our suppliers increase their prices due to weather and seasonal variations and therefore our prices can fluctuate throughout the year or change at short notice prior to your event. In this case we will inform you of any changes no later than 7 days before your event. 

Media: Unless specifically requested by you, we retain the right to use any professional photography of our work at your event for our website, social media and advertising purposes.  If any of our work is submitted to a blog or magazine it must credited to Bespoke Weddings and Events.

Terms & Conditions of hire

Return and collection:  All hire items must be returned the following day after the event, or collection and late fees will be charged. Collection can be arranged by us in advance for an additional fee.

Delivery and installation: Delivery and/or installation services are available for an additional fee, and will be quoted based on venue/location and number of hire items required.

Damaged or unreturned items: All hire items must be returned in the condition they were hired in. Damaged or unreturned items will incur full replacement or repair fees.

Event hire agreement: A Hire Agreement must be signed and a 30% non-refundable deposit paid to confirm the booking.
